Christmas Wishlist 2015: Beauty Edition

Friday, December 04, 2015

After my unrestrained dive into Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales I think it's safe to say I've accomplished pretty much majority of my Christmas wishlist. But hey, it's December and because we all know too much is really never enough, I've obviously still managed to compile a wishlist (magically) under the cut.

I'm 100% certain no one needs any other reason to buy the (1)Lorac Unzipped Palette other than the fact that it's the Lorac Unzipped Palette. I know it leans a little warm, but that just really isn't going to stop me. My eyelids demand their buttery, warm colors all over them. They've also told me how much they looove the creamy, long-wearing formula of the (2)Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows (hopefully in Bikini-tini and Holy Smokes!).

The (3)Becca Afterglow Palette has been receiving some crazy reviews, and because I rarely ever highlight, this seems like something good to start with (#spendingjustifications). I wouldn't kill for the (4)Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, but I seriously wouldn't mind having it. Seriously. I've got like negatives in the contouring skill levels, but hey, it's always good to learn something new.

You know, I love my Tarte blushes and I can't ever doll up without a good blush, but surprisingly, for a blog with blush in the name, blushes are just one of those things I always neglect to hoard (that's a bad thing, apparently). But I do think having the (5)Unzipped Cheek Palette would undeniably help.

Ah my ghad, the (6)Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils and (7)Satin Lip Pencils need no explanation obvs. Buuut these colors do. I'll come out with it. Yes, I bought it for Taylor Swift. She said she loves Dragon Girl, and she bought Luxembourg because of Hilary Duff. So... now I'm buying it because she bought it? Sorry, not sorry. I'm a Swiftie. Die-hard, no shame.

Okay, get this: up until this year, I had no clue how to curl my eyelashes. I couldn't do it. I'd pull the skin, only a small portion would curl, and all of it would just crimp--every nightmare you could think of. Then one day, I saw my mom's Shu Uemura curler and I was just like, "Ok, let's try again." And it worked! It curled! My eyes were big and awake! So now, obviously, I need a good pair of mascara because I've never even touched one before. It's gotten great reviews, so (8)Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara seems perfect.

I'll be creating a skincare and art materials edition, too, so stay tuned for those!

Have you guys compiled your wishlist yet? Santa is nigh!
