Christmas Wishlist 2015: Skincare Edition

Wednesday, December 09, 2015

It's only a few more weeks until Christmas day!

Christmas means many lovely, wonderful things but in blogmas, it means wish lists! A whole bunch of wish lists. I've already done my beauty edition, but as we all know makeup is always better paired with a good skincare routine.

CosRX has really been making the rounds around the internet. I’ve heard nothing but praises for the (1)Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. It’s on the HG skincare list of so many that I can’t help but be tempted. The (2)AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner has been mentioned in a bunch of posts, though not as often as the former. I heard it really helps if you’re going to apply a bunch of actives right after!

The (3)Banila Co. Clean It Zero apparently has the most satisfying texture for removing makeup. I want in on that. I saw an actual video of someone removing their makeup with this and oh my gosh? Whoa.

I love my (4)SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. This changed my skin’s texture to smooooth. It also really helped brighten it! I can’t live without it. I’m a third through my only bottle and it’s killing me! (5)Pixi’s Glow Tonic is everywhere, too, just like CoxRX’s snail stuff and I want it specifically for the 5% Glycolic! I love that stuff. It really helps with skin brightening, so glow tonic seems pretty feasible to me.

I love wash off masks so much that I almost hate the fact that I can only do it twice a week. My Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mask is the best, but I’d like to change things up a little with the much-loved (6)Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off.

I know it’s so gimmicky, but I can’t help but be curious with the (7)Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal and the (8)Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox De-Puffing Eye Cubes. It’s a wishlist for a reason!

Skincare is really one of those things you should throw your money at for good reason, but a lot of the stuff here (despite being a wishlist) are actually super affordable and, according to many, very effective! That's a pretty good deal, I think!

So, there you have it! What's in your skincare wishlist for this year?

(Oh, stay tuned for the watercolour wishlist! You might find something you want too!)
