{ Review | Beauty } Forever21 Love&Beauty Ultimate Matte Blush Palette (and Swatches!)

This massive palette caught my eye while I browsing online, and it was being sold for PHP 650.00! That’s so unbelievably cheap for something with this much product. I’m sure my blog name has made it obvious that I’m a firm believer in never having enough blushes. I've never tried any of Forever21's makeup products, but I do remember reading a bunch of good reviews about their eyeshadow on reddit. So I took a bit of a risk and ordered it on the spot!

It comes in this kind of clunky packaging, and it easily takes scuffs, but it was nice and sealed before I tore all that plastic off, lol. It’s nothing particularly super sturdy but it works. It's very thin. The pans are lifted and not level with the palette itself. I think it'd actually be pretty easy to depot these...

It’s got a beautiful array of matte colors, as you can see. And it’s a good number of product! Definitely the standard size blush for each color (about 4.5g). Each one is as big as my refill of MAC Melba for reference.

Color me impressed so far. But how does it swatch?

Really well actually! Those are ALL one swipe each. They’re so incredibly pigmented that I actually couldn’t believe it. Surprisingly, they do feel pretty high-end—I mean, I spent about $10 on these! They are very smooth, very creamy, practically buttery—I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of these blushes. None of them are chalky, just a little bit soft. The softer ones are the lighter shades, but the formula is very buildable.

And yay, all completely matte!

With the deeper colors, it’s probably best to use a very light hand if you’re fair like me. They’re so pigmented, it’s crazy!

Pros:

  • So affordable
  • Beautiful pigmentation
  • Amazing texture and quality for its price
  • 10 colors!

Cons:

  • Clunky packaging
