While I adore my original Tartelette, the few cool shadows end up looking a little too muddy and strong on my pale face, so when I saw the opportunity to get the Tartelette In Bloom...

It's similar in design to the original, but that front lid is all kinds of crazy. Look how pretty that is! I'm not saying it makes my old Tartlette look plain as hell, but... actually, yeah. I am saying that. Tarte always blows packaging out of the water. I don't think I own a single thing from them that didn't make me go "ooh." And just like the first, it comes with a YUGE mirror. Super travel friendly, closes with an audible snap, and sturdy as hell.

This one comes with three lovely shimmers, and nine mattes. The original came with just plain mattes. I still love all matte palettes, personally, because my eyes are a little hooded and shimmery crease looks just... don't do it. I get a lot of use out my original Tartlette's first and third rows.

Oh, and it almost smells like cocoa powder. LITERALLY THE BEST.

Anyway, onto swatches!

(First row to last row) Charmer, Jetsetter, Rocker, Smokeshow. Flowerchild, Smarty Pants, Firecracker, and Activist. Funny Girl, Sweetheart, Rebel, and Leader.
These names, guys. L o l. I have to admit that they're a step up from the original palette, though, because heh, super mom.

(Lightest to Darkest) Charmer, Jetsetter, Rocker, Smokeshow.
Flowerchild, Smarty Pants, Firecracker, Activist.

Funny Girl, Sweetheart, Rebel, Leader.
This palette actually blends waaaaaaay easier than the first. It's also got same ace transition colors. All the colors compliment my skin tone, too, since they all lean towards the warmer side. I had a phase where I honestly thought my skin leaned cool, but I finally realised that I'm a little bit more neutral, leaning warm. I have so many foundations I dunno what to do with right now.

I don't know if my swatches represent it well enough--the lighter shades are practically my skin--but these are hella pigmented. Funny Girl is a nice shimmer, but it doesn't go as smooth on the lids as the other two shimmers. Activist and Smokeshow are little similar when blended on the lids, too, but whatever. I just pretend they aren't (lol). These were all without primer. They look even better with.

Worth it?

Is it obvious? I adore this palette. I'm almost scared of running out of it and hitting pan. Get it. If you adore warm neutrals, mattes, and pretty packaging, the $45 price point shouldn't deter you. It's a terrific palette.
